This prayer booklet has been compiled to encourage reflection and intercession for Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities. Drawing on key dates, including International Romani Day, Romani Resistance Day, and International Romani Language Day, it offers prayers that celebrate cultural heritage, honour those who have faced oppression, and ask for an end to prejudice and division. A collection of shorter prayers is also included, covering themes of protection, blessing, and unity.
The booklet is intended for anyone who wants to pray with greater understanding and empathy for these communities, whether individually or as part of a congregation. It reflects a deep commitment to intercultural respect, and to recognising the gifts, resilience, and faith of Romani, Roma and Traveller peoples around the world.
